Savior café is nestled in the heart of Glenwood. It has a lovely atmosphere, as it offers different seating, either outside under the trees/umbrellas, on the veranda or inside. A lovely breakfast spot, I’ve tried a few things on their menu such as eggs benedict was lovely, well presented and extremely tasty. They know how to cook eggs, so they don’t look or taste like plastic.
Saturday morning friend catches up at Savior café. A favourite because the food is fresh, well presented and there is always something new and existing. On this particular day, I had their pizza and my friend had a wrap which she loved.
Savior has transformed one of Glenwood’s grand old houses into a victorian stylish and comfortable venue for breakfasts and lunches. Its intimate coffee shop offers a KZN bean, the coffee milkshakes are first class, believe it or not, I had to order it twice. There are freshly baked cakes for the coffee and snack customers who pop to socialise and sit in the different rooms within or at the garden tables.
The food is awesome, the restaurant is intimate and well worth the visit.
